'No amount of gentleness can ease the pain of a broken hearted man...'

The Bread of Salt and May Day Eve are stories that allowed me to conceived new thoughts about love.

The 'puppy love' shared in 'The Bread of Salt' made me feel nostalgic. Somewhere in my early teens, I've also fallen in love... I've fallen in love so hard that I always wanted to impress the girl. I was always there when she cried... I was always there when she needed someone to talk to... and I was always there even if she doesn't need me...

I have loved and lost my own puppy love... yet I am still looking forward to the day, when we still would be able to meet...

I may be a fool for writing about this part of my life I'm wishin' to forget. They say that, 'a dreamer can be forgiven but not a fool'. I may be the latter for writing and telling this to everybody without really even knowing what do I really feel right now...

Perhaps I am still after that lost love... I'm a fool... The Bread of Salt into which I still am looking forward each day of my life.

I'm a fool! I had even tried the 'Mirror, Mirror on the Wall', thing when I was barely thirteen years old... and believe me... I didn't see any one else at the mirror! I didn't even see a witch or a devil...
Hahaha... I think husbands and wives really treat themselves as the devil and the witch. A handsome devil and a beautiful witch for that matter... Perhaps this is the spice of the relationship for the married couple.
May Day Eve has given a new lesson in loving, (a great lesson for that matter), if I love a person, I tell her right away... I'll make sure that she'll be able to feel what I feel... I'll make sure that she'll know how much I love her... I'll assure her that I'll be hers hanggang sa matuyo ang tubig sa Manila Bay... In short until I die...
Badoy, even though was angry with Agueda, was still captured by her charm... He wasn't that immune from her pala.
Love has conquered both Agueda and Badoy... Even though they found themselves still hooked from the practices of the native Filipinos, they still fell in love with each other. Perhaps they fell in love on the way to Aintipolo... One thing is sure... they are the most beautiful devil and witch couple...
